I still support borrowing books vs buying. The supposed limitations of using using a library (not getting the books you want when you want them, having to make do with random other books) are also the incentives to try out new authors and reach beyond your comfort zone of reading.

well, I heartily disagree :). About the environment, though - buy books printed on recycled paper.
